Is LungStats web based?
LungStats is not web based. It is a stand-alone solution designed to run on a PC.
What version of windows do I need?
LungStats will run on Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10.
Can I install LungStats on a network?
Yes you can install LungStats on a network drive. It will be accessible to any PC with privileges to run it.
Can I use LungStats on more than one PC at once?
Yes, but only if you get the multi-user version. You would also need to obtain a copy or FileMaker Pro for each workstation you wish to use to access LungStats.
Can I recreate the patient information output file if something happens to it?
Yes. LungStats creates a log file of all output files. You can easily tell it to make another copy of any previous output file.
Is there a limit to patient data?
No. LungStats is based on the FileMaker Pro platform. Your database is limited to the size of your hard drive.
Does LungStats provide yearly screening notifications for patients?
Yes. A letter can be created for patients notifying them of their upcoming exam due date. A letter can also be created to send to the ordering physician to let them know it's time for their patients screening exam.
Does LungStats provide follow-up notifications for patients?
Yes. A letter can be created for patients notifying them they should consult with their ordering physician for a follow-up exam. A letter can also be created to send to the ordering physician to let them know about the need for a follow-up exam.
How can I backup my data?
There is an automated backup in LungStats. You can direct the backup to be saved at any location you wish. The backup function run every time you successfully exit LungStats. Up to 7 backups are created before previous backups are overwritten.
What if the rules are changed for the Lung-RADS data collection?
We will provide any updates and modifications to the software as soon as possible. This will be covered under your annual fee for purchases and under the lease agreement for leases.
How does the data get in LungStats?
Exam data is entered by a user. Patient demographics can be manually entered too or they can be imported from your hospital system if that is available. To check availability, please consult with us.

How long will it take to get LungStats once it is ordered?
After we receive the order, you will receive a link to download the installer to run on the PC you wish to use LungStats on. We will inform your IT person any specifics they need to know to setup LungStats properly.
Is my data secure in LungStats?
Yes. LungStats data is encrypted in the database. It is not accessible to any type of importing or extraction without permission.
Are HIPAA regulations followed within LungStats?
Yes. All user activity is tracked and logged. The system is password protected and further protection layers are in place for users and administrators respectively.
Can I export my patient and exam data?
Yes. There are export buttons on several key data screens.
